White Exterior Stone — Direct Sourcing + Mockups
An architect-led private villa required an ultra-white exterior stone as an alternative to a premium benchmark material — without compromising long-term exterior performance.
We supported the U.S. contractor through direct Mediterranean sourcing, structuring a defensible selection path that balanced aesthetic intent, durability, and commercial viability.
Candidate materials were screened across Greece, Turkey, and the Balkans, aligning visual targets (brightness, crystal structure, vein control) with measurable exterior performance. For each option, we assembled a concise technical package — density, absorption, porosity, strength, and exposure suitability — enabling a spec-ready proposal to the architect.
Execution Controls
Screening was paired with performance validation. We coordinated sample production, reviewed finish behavior, and produced profile mockups (moldings and façade details) to confirm edge geometry, surface response, and buildability before commitment.

Independent documentation and technical data (EN/ASTM) supported a defensible specification path.

Outcome
The contractor secured a credible, cost-effective exterior solution aligned with the original design intent.
Samples and mockups reduced approval friction, accelerated decision-making, and avoided last-minute substitutions or technical disputes.
How do you approach a new request?
We start with a structured scope review. Drawings (PDF/DWG), unit system (imperial/metric), thicknesses, edge details, tolerances, quantities, and delivery target. If anything is unclear, we issue a short clarification list before pricing — so the quote remains executable through production, packing, and export.
